Vial size, bacteriostatic water and dose in — the syringe reading comes out. Defaults are the MOTS-c numbers from the Dosify Me app; change anything.
Quick answer: A 5 mg vial of MOTS-c mixed with 0.5 mL of bacteriostatic water comes to 10 mg/mL, so a 2.5 mg dose is 25 units (0.25 mL) on an insulin syringe.

10mg vial + 1mL BAC water = 15 units = 1.5mg — Frequency: 2-3x weekly — Best taken: mornings or pre-workout; late-day use is reported to cause restlessness at night
Full MOTS-c dosing reference — reconstitution per vial size, dose-to-units table, side effects and sources.
Experimental compound — no completed human clinical trials. The reported pattern builds gradually toward 1mg/day over ~10 weeks. The 10mg reference vial mixes to 10mg/mL. Larger vial size options are capped at ~3mL BAC water instead of diluted further, so they come out more concentrated (fewer units per dose) than this reference size.
Standard water for each MOTS-c vial size in the Dosify Me data, and the concentration it gives. One unit is 0.01 mL on a U-100 insulin syringe.
| Vial | Vial contents | Bacteriostatic water | Concentration | Amount in one unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 5000 mcg | 0.50 mL | 10 mg/mL | 100 mcg |
| 10 mg | 10000 mcg | 1.00 mL | 10 mg/mL | 100 mcg |
| 20 mg | 20000 mcg | 2.00 mL | 10 mg/mL | 100 mcg |
| 40 mg* | 40000 mcg | 3.00 mL | 13.33 mg/mL | 133.33 mcg |
* This size is conventionally mixed more concentrated rather than diluted further — fewer units per dose than smaller vials of this peptide.
| Quantity | 5 mg | 10 mg | 20 mg | 40 mg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.5 mg | 15 units | 15 units | 15 units | 11.2 units |
| 2.5 mg | 25 units | 25 units | 25 units | 18.8 units |
| 5 mg | 50 units | 50 units | 50 units | 37.5 units |
Label numbers from the Dosify Me data, used to show the arithmetic. Not a recommendation of any quantity.
At 10 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 20 mg), 1.5 mg of MOTS-c is 15.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.150 mL).
At 10 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 20 mg), 2.5 mg of MOTS-c is 25.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.250 mL).
At 10 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 20 mg), 5 mg of MOTS-c is 50.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.500 mL).
0.50 mL, which gives 10 mg/mL. Larger vials hold at most 3 mL of water, so they are mixed more concentrated and need fewer units per dose.
1.00 mL, which gives 10 mg/mL. Larger vials hold at most 3 mL of water, so they are mixed more concentrated and need fewer units per dose.
2.00 mL, which gives 10 mg/mL. Larger vials hold at most 3 mL of water, so they are mixed more concentrated and need fewer units per dose.
2-3x weekly. Mornings or pre-workout; late-day use is reported to cause restlessness at night Typical cycle: ~4 weeks on, ~2 weeks off; repeat 2–3×/year.

Figures come from the Dosify Me compound database for MOTS-c: concentration is the vial amount ÷ the water volume, and syringe units are the volume in mL × 100 on a U-100 syringe.
Last checked: (changes only when the MOTS-c data changes)
Dosify Me does this math for you. Pick the compound, your vial size and dose, and the app draws the exact syringe reading, keeps your schedule and reminders, and logs every dose — privately, on your phone.
