Peptide guides
The practical questions, answered with the same numbers the Dosify Me app uses. Each guide is generated against the compound database, so the figures match the per-compound pages and the calculator.
Informational use only — not medical advice. Check every figure against your own product and talk to a licensed healthcare provider before starting or changing anything.
How to use these guides
Every guide works from the same Dosify Me compound database as the calculators and the compound pages, so the numbers match wherever you read them. Start with the math guides if you have a vial in front of you and want to know what a quantity reads on the syringe; the handling guides cover storage and injection sites; the tracking guides cover keeping a record.
The guides explain arithmetic and handling. They do not say what dose to take, and nothing here replaces a prescriber or a pharmacist.
Syringe and vial math
Turning a vial, a volume of water and a quantity into the reading on an insulin syringe.
- How Many Units Is 250 mcg? Peptide Dose to Insulin-Syringe Units
Turn a microgram dose into insulin-syringe units in two steps, with worked examples for BPC-157, TB-500, ipamorelin and semaglutide at the concentrations the Dosify Me app uses.- How many units is 250 mcg?
- What is one unit on an insulin syringe?
- How do I go from mg/mL to mcg per unit?
- What if my dose comes out to more than 100 units?
- Units vs mL vs mg on an Insulin Syringe: How to Read a Compounded Vial Without Mixing Them Up
Milligrams are the drug, millilitres are the liquid, units are marks on the syringe. How the three convert, worked examples for weekly GLP-1 vials, and the 2024 FDA warning about mixing them up. - How Much Bacteriostatic Water for a 5 mg Vial? (And 10 mg, 20 mg)
How much bacteriostatic water to add to a peptide vial: the rule, why the app targets one concentration per compound, and a table of vial sizes with the water each takes for BPC-157, TB-500, semaglutide, tirzepatide and more.- How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg vial?
- Does more water make the dose weaker?
- Can I use sterile water instead of bacteriostatic water?
- What if the vial is too small for the water?
- U-100 vs U-50 Insulin Syringe for Peptides: Which One, and Does the Reading Change?
U-100 and U-50 insulin syringes both measure 0.01 mL per unit, so a peptide dose reads the same number on either. What differs is the maximum, the tick spacing and how easy small doses are to read.- Is a unit the same on a U-100 and a U-50 syringe?
- Which syringe should I use for small peptide doses?
- Can I draw more than 50 units on a U-50?
- What does U-100 actually mean?
- Peptide Calculator in IU: HCG and HGH Reconstitution, IU to Syringe Units
How to use a peptide calculator when the vial is labelled in IU: IU per mL, IU per insulin-syringe unit, and worked HCG and HGH examples. An IU is not a syringe unit and not a milligram.- How many units is 500 IU of HCG?
- Is an IU the same as a unit on an insulin syringe?
- How do I use a peptide calculator in IU?
- How many IU is 1 mg of HGH?
- How many units is 2 IU of HGH?
- How Much Is 1 mL (1 cc) of Testosterone Cypionate? mL to mg at 100, 200 and 250 mg/mL
What 1 mL, 0.5 mL and 0.25 mL of testosterone cypionate or enanthate contain at each labelled strength, the mL for a given mg, what the insulin syringe reads, and how many draws a 1, 5 or 10 mL vial holds. Label math only.- How much is 1 cc of testosterone cypionate?
- How much is 0.5 mL of testosterone cypionate?
- How much is 1 mL of testosterone enanthate?
- How many mL is 200 mg of testosterone cypionate?
- How many doses are in a 10 mL vial of testosterone cypionate?
Handling and storage
Keeping a vial in good order and rotating injection sites.
- Peptide Storage: How Long Reconstituted Peptides Last and How to Keep Them
How to store peptides before and after reconstitution: freezer or fridge for powder, fridge for mixed vials, why about four weeks is the working rule, and the signs a vial has gone off.- How long does a reconstituted peptide last in the fridge?
- Can I freeze a reconstituted peptide?
- Does bacteriostatic water make it last longer?
- How do I know a vial has gone bad?
- Peptide Injection Site Rotation: The 10 Subcutaneous Sites and How Long to Rest Each
Where to inject subcutaneous peptides, why you rotate sites, the ten sites on a body map, and a simple four-day rest rule so no spot gets used twice in a row.- Where do you inject peptides subcutaneously?
- How often should I rotate injection sites?
- Why rotate at all?
- Does the site change how well the peptide works?
Tracking and apps
Keeping a record of what you have used, and how the tracker apps compare.
- How to Track Peptide Doses: What to Log, Why, and a Simple System
A tracking system for peptide protocols: the six things worth logging per dose, why adherence and vial countdowns matter, and how to keep it private on your phone.- What should I record for each peptide dose?
- Do I need to track if I only take one peptide?
- Is a spreadsheet good enough?
- Is my dose history private in Dosify Me?
- Peptide Calculator and Tracker Apps Compared (2026)
Nine peptide reconstitution calculator and dose tracker apps side by side: platforms, price, store ratings as of 29 September 2026, and what each is best at. Written by the makers of Dosify Me, who list themselves last.
