Home › Guides › How much is 1 mL of testosterone cypionate?
It depends on the strength printed on the vial. 1 cc is exactly 1 mL, and the milligrams in it are the strength times the volume: 200 mg at 200 mg/mL, 100 mg at 100 mg/mL, 250 mg at 250 mg/mL. The same figures hold for testosterone enanthate, which ships at the same strengths. Everything below is that one multiplication, laid out so you can read your draw off a table.

A cubic centimetre and a millilitre are the same volume, so "1 cc" and "1 mL" on a syringe mean the same thing. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 1 mL is 100 units and 0.5 mL is 50 units; a 1 mL or 3 mL syringe is marked in mL directly. The strength on the label does not change the volume, only the milligrams the volume carries.
Testosterone cypionate and enanthate are oils at a labelled strength. Nothing is added to the vial and there is no reconstitution step; the only two numbers that matter are the mg/mL on the label and the mL you draw.
| Volume | On a U-100 syringe | 100 mg/mL | 200 mg/mL | 250 mg/mL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.25 mL | 25 units | 25 mg | 50 mg | 62.5 mg |
| 0.5 mL | 50 units | 50 mg | 100 mg | 125 mg |
| 0.75 mL | 75 units | 75 mg | 150 mg | 187.5 mg |
| 1 mL | 100 units | 100 mg | 200 mg | 250 mg |
Read down the column that matches your label. The same 0.5 mL is 50 mg from one vial and 125 mg from another, which is why the strength has to be checked every time a new vial is opened.
| Amount | 100 mg/mL | 200 mg/mL | 250 mg/mL |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 mg | 0.5 mL (50 units) | 0.25 mL (25 units) | 0.2 mL (20 units) |
| 100 mg | 1 mL (100 units) | 0.5 mL (50 units) | 0.4 mL (40 units) |
| 150 mg | 1.5 mL (150 units) | 0.75 mL (75 units) | 0.6 mL (60 units) |
| 200 mg | 2 mL (200 units) | 1 mL (100 units) | 0.8 mL (80 units) |
Volume = mg ÷ mg/mL. A draw above 1 mL does not fit an insulin syringe, so at 100 mg/mL the larger amounts need a 3 mL syringe marked in millilitres.
| Vial | 100 mg/mL | 200 mg/mL | 250 mg/mL |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL | 100 mg | 200 mg | 250 mg |
| 5 mL | 500 mg | 1000 mg | 1250 mg |
| 10 mL | 1000 mg | 2000 mg | 2500 mg |
Total mg = volume × strength. Divide the total by the amount you draw to see how many draws the vial holds; the Dosify Me vial countdown does this and warns before the vial runs out.
A US label prints the strength and the volume as two separate numbers, for example "200 mg/mL, 10 mL multiple-dose vial". The first is the concentration, the second is how much liquid is inside; the total milligrams in the vial is their product and is often not printed at all. Other suppliers fill 2.5 mL or 30 mL vials, and some are 250 mg/mL, so read both numbers before drawing from a new vial.
1 cc is 1 mL. At 200 mg/mL it contains 200 mg; at 100 mg/mL, 100 mg; at 250 mg/mL, 250 mg. The strength is printed on the vial label.
Half the strength: 100 mg at 200 mg/mL, 50 mg at 100 mg/mL, 125 mg at 250 mg/mL. On a U-100 insulin syringe 0.5 mL is 50 units.
The same as cypionate at the same strength: 200 mg at 200 mg/mL, 100 mg at 100 mg/mL, 250 mg at 250 mg/mL. The ester does not change the label math.
1 mL at 200 mg/mL, 0.8 mL at 250 mg/mL and 2 mL at 100 mg/mL. On a U-100 insulin syringe those are 100, 80 and 200 units, so the 100 mg/mL draw needs a larger syringe.
A 10 mL vial at 200 mg/mL holds 2000 mg in total. Divide by what you draw: 100 mg per injection gives 20 injections, 200 mg gives 10 injections.
Dosify Me does this math for you. Pick the compound, your vial size and dose, and the app draws the exact syringe reading, keeps your schedule and reminders, and logs every dose — privately, on your phone.
