Sermorelin Acetate reconstitution calculator

Vial size, bacteriostatic water and dose in — the syringe reading comes out. Defaults are the Sermorelin Acetate numbers from the Dosify Me app; change anything.

Quick answer: A 5 mg vial of Sermorelin Acetate mixed with 2.5 mL of bacteriostatic water comes to 2 mg/mL, so a 100 mcg dose is 5 units (0.05 mL) on an insulin syringe.

Sermorelin Acetate at a glance

5mg vial + 2.5mL BAC water = 5 units = 100mcg — Frequency: daily — Best taken: evening or bedtime, fasted

What it does

Raising growth hormone can unmask previously hidden hypothyroidism and shift how the body converts thyroid hormone — that is documented in hypopituitary patients on growth hormone replacement, not in healthy people using secretagogues, and how often it matters here is unknown. GH also raises blood sugar, working against insulin and other diabetes medications. Talk to your prescribing doctor before combining, especially if you take thyroid or diabetes medication.

Notes

The 5mg reference vial mixes to 2mg/mL. Larger vial size options are capped at ~3mL BAC water instead of diluted further, so they come out more concentrated (fewer units per dose) than this reference size. Community protocols commonly cycle GH-secretagogue peptides like this one — typically 8-12 weeks on followed by 4 weeks off (up to 12 weeks off after higher-dose runs) — since continuous use may reduce pituitary receptor sensitivity over time. This app defaults to daily/ongoing use; whether and when to take a break is a question for your prescriber.

Worked example for Sermorelin Acetate

  1. The example vial: 10 mg of Sermorelin Acetate, mixed with 3.00 mL of bacteriostatic water.
  2. Concentration: 10 mg ÷ 3.00 mL = 3.33 mg/mL.
  3. One syringe unit is 0.01 mL, so it holds 3.33 mg/mL × 0.01 mL = 0.033 mg (33.33 mcg).
  4. Example quantity: 100 mcg = 0.1 mg.
  5. Volume: 0.1 mg ÷ 3.33 mg/mL = 0.03 mL.
  6. Syringe reading: 0.03 mL × 100 = 3 units.

Label numbers from the Dosify Me data, used to show the arithmetic. Not a recommendation of any quantity.

Frequently asked

How many units is 100 mcg of Sermorelin Acetate?

At 2 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 100 mcg of Sermorelin Acetate is 5.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.050 mL).

How many units is 200 mcg of Sermorelin Acetate?

At 2 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 200 mcg of Sermorelin Acetate is 10.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.100 mL).

How many units is 300 mcg of Sermorelin Acetate?

At 2 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 300 mcg of Sermorelin Acetate is 15.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.150 mL).

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg vial of Sermorelin Acetate?

2.50 mL, which gives 2 mg/mL. Larger vials hold at most 3 mL of water, so they are mixed more concentrated and need fewer units per dose.

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 10 mg vial of Sermorelin Acetate?

3.00 mL, which gives 3.33 mg/mL. This size holds at most 3 mL of water, so it is mixed more concentrated and the same dose is fewer units than from a smaller vial.

How often is Sermorelin Acetate taken?

Daily. Evening or bedtime, fasted Typical cycle: ~8 weeks on, ~4 weeks off; repeat 2×/year.

About these figures

Published by San Tan Group, LLC, the company that makes the Dosify Me app. About Dosify Me

Figures come from the Dosify Me compound database for Sermorelin Acetate: concentration is the vial amount ÷ the water volume, and syringe units are the volume in mL × 100 on a U-100 syringe.
