CJC-1295 (No DAC) reconstitution calculator

Vial size, bacteriostatic water and dose in — the syringe reading comes out. Defaults are the CJC-1295 (No DAC) numbers from the Dosify Me app; change anything.

Quick answer: A 5 mg vial of CJC-1295 (No DAC) mixed with 2.99 mL of bacteriostatic water comes to 1.67 mg/mL, so a 100 mcg dose is 6 units (0.06 mL) on an insulin syringe.

What it does

Raising growth hormone can unmask previously hidden hypothyroidism and shift how the body converts thyroid hormone — that is documented in hypopituitary patients on growth hormone replacement, not in healthy people using secretagogues, and how often it matters here is unknown. GH also raises blood sugar, working against insulin and other diabetes medications. Talk to your prescribing doctor before combining, especially if you take thyroid or diabetes medication.

Notes

A reported pattern starts at 100mcg and rises by ~50mcg every 1-2 weeks as tolerated. Community protocols commonly cycle GH-secretagogue peptides like this one — typically 8-12 weeks on followed by 4 weeks off (up to 12 weeks off after higher-dose runs) — since continuous use may reduce pituitary receptor sensitivity over time. This app defaults to daily/ongoing use; whether and when to take a break is a question for your prescriber.

CJC-1295 (No DAC) vial sizes and concentrations

Standard water for each CJC-1295 (No DAC) vial size in the Dosify Me data, and the concentration it gives. One unit is 0.01 mL on a U-100 insulin syringe.

Worked example for CJC-1295 (No DAC)

  1. The example vial: 10 mg of CJC-1295 (No DAC), mixed with 3.00 mL of bacteriostatic water.
  2. Concentration: 10 mg ÷ 3.00 mL = 3.33 mg/mL.
  3. One syringe unit is 0.01 mL, so it holds 3.33 mg/mL × 0.01 mL = 0.033 mg (33.33 mcg).
  4. Example quantity: 100 mcg = 0.1 mg.
  5. Volume: 0.1 mg ÷ 3.33 mg/mL = 0.03 mL.
  6. Syringe reading: 0.03 mL × 100 = 3 units.

Frequently asked

How many units is 100 mcg of CJC-1295 (No DAC)?

At 1.67 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 100 mcg of CJC-1295 (No DAC) is 6.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.060 mL).

How many units is 150 mcg of CJC-1295 (No DAC)?

At 1.67 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 150 mcg of CJC-1295 (No DAC) is 9.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.090 mL).

How many units is 200 mcg of CJC-1295 (No DAC)?

At 1.67 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 200 mcg of CJC-1295 (No DAC) is 12.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.120 mL).

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg vial of CJC-1295 (No DAC)?

2.99 mL, which gives 1.67 mg/mL. Larger vials hold at most 3 mL of water, so they are mixed more concentrated and need fewer units per dose.

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 10 mg vial of CJC-1295 (No DAC)?

3.00 mL, which gives 3.33 mg/mL. This size holds at most 3 mL of water, so it is mixed more concentrated and the same dose is fewer units than from a smaller vial.

How often is CJC-1295 (No DAC) taken?

Daily. Bedtime, fasted (empty stomach 2+ hours) Typical cycle: ~8 weeks on, ~4 weeks off; repeat 2–3×/year.

About these figures
