Vial size, bacteriostatic water and dose in — the syringe reading comes out. Defaults are the Semax numbers from the Dosify Me app; change anything.
Quick answer: A 5 mg vial of Semax mixed with 1 mL of bacteriostatic water comes to 5 mg/mL, so a 300 mcg dose is 6 units (0.06 mL) on an insulin syringe.

10mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 6 units = 300mcg — Frequency: daily, 10-day cycles — Best taken: mornings

No study, case report or label describes Semax combined with an MAOI. The concern rests on mechanism — Semax is reported to affect brain monoamine signaling, and MAOIs block the breakdown of those same monoamines — so it is an untested combination with a plausible reason for caution, not a documented danger. Overlap with SSRIs/SNRIs is the same kind of unstudied concern. Talk to your prescribing doctor before combining with any antidepressant.
No single consensus protocol — community subcutaneous protocols are reported at 300-1000mcg once daily, titrated gradually. All vial sizes reconstitute to 5mg/mL (50mcg/unit) so the syringe reads the same regardless of size.
Standard water for each Semax vial size in the Dosify Me data, and the concentration it gives. One unit is 0.01 mL on a U-100 insulin syringe.
| Vial | Vial contents | Bacteriostatic water | Concentration | Amount in one unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 5000 mcg | 1.00 mL | 5 mg/mL | 50 mcg |
| 10 mg | 10000 mcg | 2.00 mL | 5 mg/mL | 50 mcg |
| Quantity | 5 mg | 10 mg |
|---|---|---|
| 300 mcg | 6 units | 6 units |
| 500 mcg | 10 units | 10 units |
| 800 mcg | 16 units | 16 units |
| 1 mg | 20 units | 20 units |

At 5 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 300 mcg of Semax is 6.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.060 mL).
At 5 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 500 mcg of Semax is 10.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.100 mL).
At 5 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 800 mcg of Semax is 16.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.160 mL).
1.00 mL, which gives 5 mg/mL. Other vial sizes use proportionally more or less water so the syringe reads the same.
2.00 mL, which gives 5 mg/mL. Other vial sizes use proportionally more or less water so the syringe reads the same.
Daily, 10-day cycles. Mornings, any consistent time Typical cycle: ~10 days on, ~1 week off; repeat as needed.

Figures come from the Dosify Me compound database for Semax: concentration is the vial amount ÷ the water volume, and syringe units are the volume in mL × 100 on a U-100 syringe.

Dosify Me does this math for you. Pick the compound, your vial size and dose, and the app draws the exact syringe reading, keeps your schedule and reminders, and logs every dose — privately, on your phone.
