Survodutide at a glance

10mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 6 units = 300mcg — Frequency: weekly — Best taken: same day each week

What it does

Its GLP-1 activity slows digestion, which can change absorption of other oral medications, including thyroid medication. Combined with insulin or a sulfonylurea, the added blood-sugar-lowering effect can cause hypoglycemia — those doses often need to be reduced first. Talk to your prescribing doctor before combining.

Notes

All vial sizes reconstitute to 5mg/mL (50mcg/unit) so the syringe reads the same regardless of size.

Side Effects

Survodutide strength and syringe units

Survodutide ships ready to use, so no water is added. The strength is 5 mg/mL, so one syringe unit (0.01 mL on a U-100 insulin syringe) holds 0.05 mg.

Worked example for Survodutide

  1. Strength: 5 mg/mL, ready to use.
  2. Example quantity: 300 mcg = 0.3 mg.
  3. Volume: 0.3 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 0.06 mL.
  4. Syringe reading: 0.06 mL × 100 = 6 units.

Label numbers from the Dosify Me data, used to show the arithmetic. Not a recommendation of any quantity.

Frequently asked

How many units is 300 mcg of Survodutide?

How many units is 600 mcg of Survodutide?

At 5 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 600 mcg of Survodutide is 12.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.120 mL).

How many units is 1.2 mg of Survodutide?

At 5 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 1.2 mg of Survodutide is 24.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.240 mL).

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 10 mg vial of Survodutide?

About these figures

Published by San Tan Group, LLC, the company that makes the Dosify Me app. About Dosify Me

Figures come from the Dosify Me compound database for Survodutide: concentration is the vial amount ÷ the water volume, and syringe units are the volume in mL × 100 on a U-100 syringe.
