Thymalin at a glance

10mg vial + 1mL BAC water = 100 units = 10mg — Frequency: daily, 5-10 day courses — Best taken: morning, fasted

What it does

As a thymic, immune-modulating peptide, Thymalin's effects could work against deliberate immunosuppression. Anyone on immunosuppressant medication (organ transplant anti-rejection drugs, biologics, or similar) should talk to that prescriber before use.

Notes

The 10mg vial mixes with 1mL of BAC water to 10mg/mL (100mcg/unit), so a 10mg dose is 100 units, one full 1mL syringe.

Side Effects

Thymalin strength and syringe units

Thymalin ships ready to use, so no water is added. The strength is 10 mg/mL, so one syringe unit (0.01 mL on a U-100 insulin syringe) holds 0.1 mg.

Worked example for Thymalin

  1. Strength: 10 mg/mL, ready to use.
  2. Example quantity: 10000 mcg = 10 mg.
  3. Volume: 10 mg ÷ 10 mg/mL = 1 mL.
  4. Syringe reading: 1 mL × 100 = 100 units.

Label numbers from the Dosify Me data, used to show the arithmetic. Not a recommendation of any quantity.

Frequently asked

How many units is 2.5 mg of Thymalin?

At 10 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 2.5 mg of Thymalin is 25.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.250 mL).

How many units is 5 mg of Thymalin?

At 10 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 5 mg of Thymalin is 50.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.500 mL).

How many units is 10 mg of Thymalin?

At 10 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 10 mg of Thymalin is 100.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (1.000 mL).

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 10 mg vial of Thymalin?

1.00 mL, which gives 10 mg/mL. This compound ships pre-mixed, so no water is added.

How often is Thymalin taken?

Daily, 5-10 day courses. Morning, fasted, typically 10-day courses Typical cycle: ~10–20 days on, then break; repeat 2×/year.

About these figures

Published by San Tan Group, LLC, the company that makes the Dosify Me app. About Dosify Me

Figures come from the Dosify Me compound database for Thymalin: concentration is the vial amount ÷ the water volume, and syringe units are the volume in mL × 100 on a U-100 syringe.
