Vial size, bacteriostatic water and dose in — the syringe reading comes out. Defaults are the VIP numbers from the Dosify Me app; change anything.
Quick answer: A 5 mg vial of VIP mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water comes to 2.5 mg/mL, so a 50 mcg dose is 2 units (0.02 mL) on an insulin syringe.

5mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 2 units = 50mcg — Frequency: daily — Best taken: bedtime

VIP is a vasodilator — in a controlled human infusion study it caused flushing and lowered vascular resistance in the forearm, though average blood pressure did not change significantly at the dose tested. Combining it with blood pressure medication or other vasodilating drugs (nitrates, PDE5 inhibitors) could still add up to more of a drop than either alone, but no one has studied the pairing. Talk to your prescribing doctor before combining.
The 5mg reference vial mixes to 2.5mg/mL. Larger vial size options are capped at ~3mL BAC water instead of diluted further, so they come out more concentrated (fewer units per dose) than this reference size.
Standard water for each VIP vial size in the Dosify Me data, and the concentration it gives. One unit is 0.01 mL on a U-100 insulin syringe.
| Vial | Vial contents | Bacteriostatic water | Concentration | Amount in one unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 5000 mcg | 2.00 mL | 2.5 mg/mL | 25 mcg |
| 10 mg* | 10000 mcg | 3.00 mL | 3.33 mg/mL | 33.33 mcg |
* This size is conventionally mixed more concentrated rather than diluted further — fewer units per dose than smaller vials of this peptide.
| Quantity | 5 mg | 10 mg |
|---|---|---|
| 50 mcg | 2 units | 1.5 units |
| 100 mcg | 4 units | 3 units |
| 200 mcg | 8 units | 6 units |
Label numbers from the Dosify Me data, used to show the arithmetic. Not a recommendation of any quantity.
At 2.5 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 50 mcg of VIP is 2.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.020 mL).
At 2.5 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 100 mcg of VIP is 4.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.040 mL).
At 2.5 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 200 mcg of VIP is 8.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.080 mL).
2.00 mL, which gives 2.5 mg/mL. Larger vials hold at most 3 mL of water, so they are mixed more concentrated and need fewer units per dose.
3.00 mL, which gives 3.33 mg/mL. This size holds at most 3 mL of water, so it is mixed more concentrated and the same dose is fewer units than from a smaller vial.
Daily. Bedtime Typical cycle: 4 weeks on, ~2 weeks off; repeat 2–3×/year.

Figures come from the Dosify Me compound database for VIP: concentration is the vial amount ÷ the water volume, and syringe units are the volume in mL × 100 on a U-100 syringe.

Dosify Me does this math for you. Pick the compound, your vial size and dose, and the app draws the exact syringe reading, keeps your schedule and reminders, and logs every dose — privately, on your phone.
