AHK-Cu

Anti-Aging & Skin

100mg vial + 10mL BAC water = 10 units = 1mg — Amounts listed in the Dosify Me data: 1-2mg — Frequency: daily — Best taken: morning, fasted

Informational only, not medical advice. Consult a licensed healthcare provider before starting or changing any protocol.

Amounts and schedules here are listed from the Dosify Me compound data (sources below). They are not recommendations: Dosify Me does not tell you what dose to take, so follow your prescriber.

Reconstitution

Every vial size below is mixed to the same concentration, 10 mg/mL, so the syringe reads the same number of units for a given dose no matter which vial you bought.

Dose to syringe units

On a standard 100-unit (1 mL) insulin syringe, at the concentration above:

1 mg10.0 units
2 mg20.0 units

Amounts listed in the Dosify Me data: 1000–2000 mcg. Frequency: daily. Timing: morning, fasted.

All vial sizes reconstitute to 10mg/mL (100mcg/unit) so the syringe reads the same regardless of size.

Reading units for AHK-Cu

Check one row of the table above: 1000 mcg is 1 mg; 1 mg ÷ 10 mg/mL = 0.1 mL; 0.1 mL × 100 = 10 units.

What users report

Anecdotal and early-research reports, kept apart from the evidence above. Not clinically established.

Side effects

Medication caution

Like its parent compound GHK-Cu, AHK-Cu binds copper tightly. Copper-chelating medications (penicillamine, trientine — used for Wilson's disease) work directly against it, and combining the two can produce unpredictable copper levels for both the drug and the peptide. Anyone with a copper-metabolism disorder should avoid it.

Frequently asked

How many units is 1 mg of AHK-Cu?

At 10 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 1 mg of AHK-Cu is 10.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.100 mL).

How many units is 2 mg of AHK-Cu?

At 10 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 2 mg of AHK-Cu is 20.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.200 mL).

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 100 mg vial of AHK-Cu?

10.00 mL, which gives 10 mg/mL. Other vial sizes use proportionally more or less water so the syringe reads the same.

How often is AHK-Cu taken?

Daily. Morning, fasted Typical cycle: 4 weeks on, ~2 weeks off; repeat 2–3×/year.

About these figures

Published by San Tan Group, LLC, the company that makes the Dosify Me app. About Dosify Me

Figures come from the Dosify Me compound database for AHK-Cu: concentration is the vial amount ÷ the water volume, and syringe units are the volume in mL × 100 on a U-100 syringe.
