PT-141

Also known as Bremelanotide

Sexual Health & Hormonal

10mg vial + 1mL BAC water = 10 units = 1mg — Amounts listed in the Dosify Me data: 500-1750mcg — Frequency: 2x weekly — Best taken: ≥45 min before activity

Informational only, not medical advice. Consult a licensed healthcare provider before starting or changing any protocol.

Amounts and schedules here are listed from the Dosify Me compound data (sources below). They are not recommendations: Dosify Me does not tell you what dose to take, so follow your prescriber.

Reconstitution

Every vial size below is mixed to the same concentration, 10 mg/mL, so the syringe reads the same number of units for a given dose no matter which vial you bought.

Dose to syringe units

On a standard 100-unit (1 mL) insulin syringe, at the concentration above:

DoseSyringe units
500 mcg5.0 units
750 mcg7.5 units
1 mg10.0 units
1.75 mg (common)17.5 units

Amounts listed in the Dosify Me data: 500–1750 mcg. Frequency: 2x weekly. Timing: ≥45 min before activity.

Reported amounts run from 500-750mcg up to a maximum of 1750mcg, used twice weekly. Standard mix is 10mg + 1mL BAC water (10 units = 1mg); the custom water field can go up to 3mL if you prefer it more diluted.

Reading units for PT-141

Check one row of the table above: 1750 mcg is 1.75 mg; 1.75 mg ÷ 10 mg/mL = 0.175 mL; 0.175 mL × 100 = 17.5 units.

What users report

Anecdotal and early-research reports, kept apart from the evidence above. Not clinically established.

Side effects

Medication caution

Causes a transient rise in blood pressure and drop in heart rate for several hours after dosing — the opposite direction from the nitrate warning people associate with this, which belongs to ED pills like sildenafil and appears nowhere in the label for PT-141's approved form. That label does list uncontrolled high blood pressure or known cardiovascular disease as reasons not to use it. Anyone on blood pressure medication should discuss timing and monitoring with their prescribing doctor first.

Frequently asked

How many units is 500 mcg of PT-141?

At 10 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 500 mcg of PT-141 is 5.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.050 mL).

How many units is 750 mcg of PT-141?

At 10 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 750 mcg of PT-141 is 7.5 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.075 mL).

How many units is 1 mg of PT-141?

At 10 mg/mL (the concentration every vial size mixes to), 1 mg of PT-141 is 10.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.100 mL).

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 10 mg vial of PT-141?

1.00 mL, which gives 10 mg/mL. Other vial sizes use proportionally more or less water so the syringe reads the same.

How often is PT-141 taken?

2x weekly. ≥45 min before activity Typical cycle: As needed — no fixed cycle.
