5mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 10 units = 250mcg — Amounts listed in the Dosify Me data: 250mcg-2.4mg, titrated — Frequency: weekly — Best taken: same day each week
Informational only, not medical advice. Consult a licensed healthcare provider before starting or changing any protocol.
Amounts and schedules here are listed from the Dosify Me compound data (sources below). They are not recommendations: Dosify Me does not tell you what dose to take, so follow your prescriber.
Vial sizes up to 5 mg are mixed to 2.5 mg/mL. Larger vials hold at most 3 mL of water, so they are mixed more concentrated and need fewer units per dose.
| Vial | Bacteriostatic water | Concentration |
|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 2.00 mL | 2.5 mg/mL |
| 10 mg* | 3.00 mL | 3.33 mg/mL |
* This size is conventionally mixed more concentrated rather than diluted further — fewer units per dose than smaller vials of this peptide.
On a standard 100-unit (1 mL) insulin syringe, for vials mixed to 2.5 mg/mL (sizes marked * are more concentrated and need fewer units):
| Dose | Syringe units |
|---|---|
| 250 mcg | 10.0 units |
| 600 mcg | 24.0 units |
| 1.2 mg | 48.0 units |
| 2.4 mg | 96.0 units |
Amounts listed in the Dosify Me data: 250–2400 mcg. Frequency: weekly. Timing: same day each week, with or without food.
The 5mg reference vial mixes to 2.5mg/mL. Larger vial size options are capped at ~3mL BAC water instead of diluted further, so they come out more concentrated (fewer units per dose) than this reference size.
Check one row of the table above: 250 mcg is 0.25 mg; 0.25 mg ÷ 2.5 mg/mL = 0.1 mL; 0.1 mL × 100 = 10 units.

Pramlintide, the FDA-approved amylin analog in this same drug class, carries a boxed warning for severe hypoglycemia when combined with insulin — insulin doses typically need to be reduced when starting an amylin analog. Cagrilintide also slows gastric emptying, which can change the absorption of other oral medications, including thyroid medication. Talk to your prescribing doctor before combining, especially if you use insulin.

At 2.5 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 250 mcg of Cagrilintide is 10.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.100 mL).
At 2.5 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 600 mcg of Cagrilintide is 24.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.240 mL).
At 2.5 mg/mL (the standard mix for vials up to 5 mg), 1.2 mg of Cagrilintide is 48.0 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe (0.480 mL).
2.00 mL, which gives 2.5 mg/mL. Larger vials hold at most 3 mL of water, so they are mixed more concentrated and need fewer units per dose.
3.00 mL, which gives 3.33 mg/mL. This size holds at most 3 mL of water, so it is mixed more concentrated and the same dose is fewer units than from a smaller vial.
Weekly. Same day each week, with or without food Typical cycle: Often run continuously; tapering is done under guidance.
Yes. “cagri” is the short name people use for Cagrilintide in forums and search, and every figure on this page is for that same compound. The units, water and schedule above do not change with the spelling.
Dosify Me does this math for you. Pick the compound, your vial size and dose, and the app draws the exact syringe reading, keeps your schedule and reminders, and logs every dose — privately, on your phone.

Figures come from the Dosify Me compound database for Cagrilintide: concentration is the vial amount ÷ the water volume, and syringe units are the volume in mL × 100 on a U-100 syringe.
